My passion in life is to make others feel better, especially when they are going through tough times. Oncology Massage combines my interest in anything medical with that strong desire I have to promote feelings of well-being in others. I have been blessed to learn from some amazing people throughout my career, from my massage teachers to doctors who have taken time to help me learn. I am a “forever student”, very interested to stay informed about my field of work. I graduated with an Associates of Applied Science in Massage Therapy Degree in 2003 from Apollo College (now Carrington College) and have taken many extra courses pertaining to Oncology, but also Massage in general. I have experience working with Chiropractors, in the Oncology Departments and Treatment Centers at both Memorial Regional Hospital and Memorial West Hospital, and have been contracted to work with the Westminster Swim Team. I thoroughly enjoy the time I spend with clients and am very fulfilled with my work.
In December 2013, the American Cancer Society completed the initial recruitment of its newest study, Cancer Prevention Study-3, with over 304,000 participants. I personally recruited many people to participate in this study, including many of my friends and family.
Not only do I share your joys, I will also be a compassionate hand to hold through life's tougher moments.
